Laura Anne Olson

Laura Anne Olson is the founder and principal attorney at The Law Office of Laura A. Olson, P.A., a Tampa law practice focused on marital and family law and civil litigation in South Tampa and the greater Tampa area.

Laura received her undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida in Tampa and earned her Juris Doctorate law degree from Stetson University College of Law, across the bay in Gulfport. During her time in law school, Laura clerked for the Honorable Judge Dennis Alvarez (Chief judge of the 13th Judicial Circuit, retired) and the Honorable Judge Elizabeth Kovachevich (U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida, retired). She was admitted to practice law in Florida in 1994 and is licensed to appear in the Florida Supreme Court and all Florida state courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Laura is rated AV preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, a leading attorney directory and source of legal information for consumers. The AV rating represents the organization’s highest marks for legal ability and professionalism based on evaluations by her peers.

Laura is a South Tampa native who has devoted her life and her 25-year-plus legal career to serving the people of South Tampa. Her love of animals is attested by her one dog (Henry, the office dog), 18 cats, and three horses. Her daughter is active in competitive horse jumping, and Laura has met some amazing people and friends through her connection to the competitive show jumping community. She also enjoys boating, horseback riding and traveling with her family.
